Erythronium | err-ith-ROW-nee-um | Various Common Names
Erythronium, with it’s many common names, is a genus that includes approximately 25 species of plants that thrive in moist, cool, shaded conditions. The flowers arise from tiny corms (a type of bulb) and will spread slowly in the garden, given their preferred conditions.
They are not invasive and pair up with other spring blooming plants to create loveliness. Allow them to naturalize for effortless charm. Often, they will go dormant after flowering.
