Plainview Farm will have herb and vegetable seedlings available in mid May. Some cold-tolerant varieties will be available earlier. We choose varieties from Johnny’s Selected Seeds that have proven to thrive and produce well in our short growing season. These are the vegetables we grow for ourselves.
When transplanting young plants, especially food plants, the correct timing is critical for success. Too small? They usually do not thrive. Too large? They are stunted in the pot and never grow properly.
We start seed each week to ensure that your plants are at the proper size to make you a successful - which means incredibly productive!
