In his talk, Steve sang the praises of some of the numerous plants that he has grown in the trial gardens at Plainview Farm. He included a few plants that had enjoyed great popularity in the past, but whose star had recently dimmed.He also included "unknowns" — plants that deserve notice, but who need to be discovered and talked up by gardeners. Of course, he included some new kids on the block who have great potential! Finally, he did not resist the temptation to include stalwart plants that perform at top form season after season.
